Help Improve Massachusetts Broadband
Gov. Deval Patrick created the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI), a division of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative when he signed the Broadband Act into law in August 2008. The mission of the MBI is to extend affordable high-speed internet access to all homes, businesses, schools, libraries, medical facilities, government offices and other public places across the state.
The MBI is collecting information about high-speed internet availability throughout the state and this information will be used to create state and national maps of broadband availability.
The maps will be used to identify unserved and underserved areas that need additional resources. You can help by contributing information about services available at your home or business by taking the MBI survey.
Go to: www.massbroadband.org/mapping/survey.html and click to enter the survey for Residents and Businesses.

Street Light Problem Info |
Residents who are aware of a street light problem should contact Unitil's Call Center directly toll free at (888) 301-7700. Customer service representatives will take information (street address and/or pole number), generate a work order and send it to the Fitchburg Operations Center. The street light should be repaired in 7 to 10 business days. If it is not repaired in that time frame, another call to the above number will result in the company's customer service department taking appropriate actions to hasten action. |
